FAMILY

As I was going home from work on Monday my car malfunctioned. I had to pull off the road. I didn't have anyone's number with me and as you all know,.. I don't have a cell phone. I was able to get a hold of Jim and he came and drove my car and told me it was safe to drive home. What a relief. I knew that if Jim was home he would help. I could count on him.
Kenny got a body shop to take the car the next day and then he took me to work and picked up my car and dropped it off to me at work. I knew if he was able to, he would help. I could count on him.
No matter how much you may fight, how angry you may get, how much family may irritate you and frustrate you, they are there when you need them to be. I don't think that people appreciate that enough. In the grind of every day life its easy to take family for granted.
I just want everyone to know that I appreciate all of you and don't take you for granted. I know that I am lucky. Love ya baby.

Tea Time

Kylie celebrated her 7th birthday with a trip to The American Girl Cafe for afternoon tea. She first picked out her new doll, Ruthie, and Kylie, Amanda and I went to the cafe for 4pm teatime. We had finger sandwiches and scones, and finished with strawberry mousse. It was very obvious Kylie had a good time. ( She was very British during tea, complete with accent.)

LANDECKS

DOES ANYONE EVER WONDER WHY THE LANDECKS, DO NOT OWN A 4 WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE. SINCE THEY USUALLY END UP GETTING A TON OF SNOW...IT WAS JUST SOMETHING I WAS PONDERING ON THE WAY TO WORK.

I am sick

For anyone who may be interested; I am sick. I have a cold. I am coughing, sneezing and my eyes are watering. I have a headache and my throat is sore. I want more than anything to be able to lay down in bed, wrapped in my blankets and drink come chai tea, but I am here at work earning a living. I am sitting at the counter in front of the door where the cold wind comes in when ever some one enters and I have to drink Folgers coffee that has been reheated throughout the day. My life bites the big one at this moment. Oh, well. Nothing you can do about but complain.
Aren't you glad that you are my family and you have to listen ( or in this case read).

Bella

Brittany and I took Bella for her booster shot last Saturday. The vet said she is doing great. She now weighs 22.5 pounds. I was surprised at how well she behaved , just sniffing around  and playing.
